Belief Statement

The community of St. John the Evangelist School believes that the moral, spiritual, and educational development of each child affects his/her life as a responsible contributing member of society, therefore: 


● We believe that Catholic education is rooted in the tradition of worship, service and community and serves as the primary focus of evangelization within the school community and at large.

● We believe that every child should experience spiritual, academic, physical and social growth by acquiring the skills needed to serve God and society.

● We believe that all children should have a sense of belonging that fosters a community of respect, compassion, and joy.

● We believe that each child is unique and should have the opportunity to reach his/her full potential.

● We believe that the pastor, principal, teachers, parents and members of the parish share responsibility for the mission of the school.
